The convenience of a debit card with the added feature of an ATM card as well. Easier than writing a check with purchases deducted directly from your checking account. Withdraw cash and transfer funds at over 25,000 ATMs throughout the mainland and Hawaii. * The first order for each member will be free. Any additional orders will be charged the Replacement Card Fee as noted in the Schedule of Fees. Existing cardholders will be issued a new card number. Card Valet Logo Manage your Hickam FCU Debit Card account and protect yourself from fraud all from your smartphone or mobile device.     Mobile Wallet allows you to load your Hickam FCU Debit Card onto your mobile device and easily tap and pay at participating merchants. Mobile Wallet offers increased security and is safer than carrying cards or cash. And because the information stored in your Mobile Wallet is encrypted, your card information is not accessible by others. Getting started using Mobile Wallet is easy!   • Savings Account

    Hickam FCU has a variety of savings account choices that pays competitively higher dividends to meet your financial goals whether it’s saving for retirement, a family vacation, children’s education, or simply to save more. Regular Savings A minimum deposit of $5 (per person) is all it takes to open a Regular Savings Account. Hickam FCU ATM card available for Regular Savings Account only (no Checking Account).

  • Money Market Account

    A Money Market Account offers you the best of both worlds with competitively higher-yielding dividend rates for higher savings balances and quick access to your funds. Minimum opening deposit is $0. Minimum Daily Balance of $5000 required to earn dividends. Multiple savings tiers to earn you more. Additional deposits allowed at any time.

  • Certificates

    Receive higher rates than regular savings by depositing your money for set terms ranging from six months to sixty months. There are two types of Certificates* available to members: Principal Plus Certificates allows you to reinvest all dividends earned, compounding your principal balance faster. Dividend Access Certificates allows you to access all dividends earned without penalties. At the end of each month, dividends are automatically transferred to your Savings Account. Certificate Features: A minimum deposit of $500 allows you to open the certificate term of your choice. Terms are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, and 60 months. Higher yields are available for certificates of $100,000 or more. IRA Certificates are also available in 12, 24, 36, and 60 month terms. *Certificates are subject to Hickam FCU penalties upon early withdrawal.   • Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

    Hickam Federal Credit Union offers a wide range of IRA products that will help make you achieve your retirement plans and goals. No minimum balance is required for all IRA Savings Accounts. No monthly fees. Contributions may be made in "lump sums" or by regular deposits to the IRA Savings Account throughout the year. Dividends are paid monthly. IRA Certificates are also available with a minimum deposit of $500 and terms of 12, 24 and 36 months Traditional IRA A traditional IRA is an account that allows you to defer taxes on your earnings until they are withdrawn. Also, certain contributions may be tax deductible in the year they are made. Check with your tax preparer for deductibility. Roth IRA The Roth IRA is an account that features tax-free withdrawals for certain distribution reasons after a five-year holding period. Since Roth IRA contributions are nondeductible and taxed in the year they are earned, members who expect to be in a higher tax bracket when they retire may benefit more from a Roth IRA than from a Traditional IRA. Unlike the Traditional IRA, there is no requirement to begin taking distributions at age 70 1/2. Coverdell Educational Savings Account The Coverdell Educational Savings Account is an account that features tax-free withdrawals for a child's higher education expenses. Contributions are nondeductible, therefore unlike the Traditional IRA, distributions from an Coverdell Educational Savings Account are penalty free and tax-free. Consult your tax adviser for further information. IRA Certificates Earn higher dividends with an IRA Certificate*. IRA Certificates are available with a minimum deposit of $500. *IRA Certificates are subject to Hickam FCU penalties upon early withdrawal.     A perfect way for you to save for your holiday spending or gift-giving needs. Save automatically and worry-free through either payroll deduction or other regularly scheduled deposits. No minimum balance is required. No monthly service fee is charged. No fee is assessed for an early withdrawal prior to the transferring of Christmas funds each year. Dividends are paid monthly. Christmas Savings will transfer automatically into your Savings Account or Checking Account on the last day of October, each year.
