Dr. Alan Faulkner
While attending Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana, board certified ophthalmologist Alan Faulkner, MD was elected to the National Medical School Honors Society Alpha Omega Alpha. After completing his residency in ophthalmology and earning a fellowship in oculoplastics, ocular oncology, and orbital disease, he joined the faculty at Tulane as an assistant professor of ophthalmology. He then went on to work at his father’s practice in Honolulu before founding Aloha Laser Vision in July 2001. A skilled eye surgeon, Dr. Faulkner offers a variety of vision correction options including LASIK, Visian ICL™, PRK, and refractive lens exchange. He also treats a variety of common eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of a number of professional organizations including the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, and the Hawaii Ophthalmological Society. At his practice, Dr. Faulkner and his team are dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and delivering great results.
